BSL Presents It Ina Sound System Style...

This session was down at Chaggers Hall, The Co-Op hall in Southall, Shaka had a good following in the area and many sessions
were held, these i think promoted by Joey Jay. I went to this session with a mate of mine, i had introduced him into the music and
this was his first session, the session was doing its usual thing, no real stand out tunes but good vibes all the same, by about 2.30
my mate was feeling the pressure and said to me he wanted to shift, his eyes well bleary and he was the driver, i said hold tight lets
just see what the next tune is, if a standard we`ll shift, as the needle splutterd  across the plates surface a familiar sound hit my ears,
ah my drum intro, we`re staying !...the tune heaved its way in and the crowd went mad, it was a recognised tune and lifted the
spirits of the crowd, i see guys just start lift there feet in the air and shouts of approval as Shaka draw it down to b-line mashing
the crowd, speakers, walls, ceiling, people, everything was shaking, between cuts people rushed to the sides to quench thier thirst,
then back to the dance floor for some further outrageous moves....the tune in question was my original 4 track version of``Jah Man`
from the album `The Disciples`recently repressed by Shaka....if the crowd thought they were in for a respite, they were sorely wrong
as the intro lines to `Worship`, also from that same album, came tummbling out of his speakers, like warriors the crowd responded,
Shaka let loose on the synare and siren, restarting to tell the crowd ...`see them style...look out for them style coming soon on Shaka
label.....King David style...`
the rhythm pound s forth as Shaka exalts `...hola, hola, hola, hola Mount Zion I...I..I...i..i..` then later still
`if you love a them style say forward...` at which the whole crowd gave a massive  `FORWARD...` !
